Samsung soundbars offer a good, well-balanced, and neutral sound profile right out of the box, versatile for different uses. You won't find any mesh fabric on them, and you'll be satisfied with their build quality made out of great solid plastic and metal grilles covering the speakers. All Samsung soundbars are very well-built and have a sleek look.
RC WILLEY SAMSUNG SOUNDAR UPGRADE
If you're looking for a simple, budget-friendly upgrade over your TV speakers, it's a solid choice. Also, there's no support for Dolby Atmos content, and its surround performance isn't very impressive, either. There's no room correction feature, so it sounds different depending on the room you're in. Unfortunately, this soundbar doesn't offer as many features as more premium Samsung models. If you prefer a different sound, you still have access to Samsung's sound enhancement features, including a graphic EQ. There's a little extra punch in the bass range, thanks to its dedicated subwoofer. Right out-of-the-box, it has a neutral sound profile, so voices and lead instruments are clear and detailed in the mix. Since its a 2.1 setup, it's ideal for listening to stereo content, like most music and TV shows. This soundbar is a more affordable option if you want a customizable soundbar to enhance your listening experience. The Samsung HW-A550 is the best budget Samsung soundbar that we've tested. That said, it's still a solid choice for dialogue-centric content like TV shows and podcasts as well as most types of music. Also, it doesn't support Dolby Atmos content, and its surrounds performance isn't as impressive as the bars we've tested that come with discrete surround speakers. Unfortunately, since it lacks a dedicated subwoofer, this soundbar struggles to reproduce a deep and thumpy low-bass, so you don't feel the rumble in bass-heavy music or action-packed movies. Right out-of-the-box, it has a neutral sound profile that reproduces voices and lead instruments clearly and accurately. You can also find Samsung's standard selection of sound enhancement features, like a graphic EQ, as well as built-in voice assistant support. Like many smaller bars, it uses side-firing speakers built into the bar to create a more immersive sound. Despite its small size, it still has a good soundstage. This 5.0 soundbar has a very small and compact design that fits easily under your TV stand, and there's no bulky subwoofer to place in your room. If you're looking for a standalone bar, the Samsung HW-S60A is the best Samsung soundbar we've tested. You can purchase the Wireless Surround Kit separately if you want to add them to your setup down the line. You notice that sound objects - like cars in a chase scene - don't seem like they're coming from very accurate points in the soundstage. As a result, its performance with surround sound and Dolby Atmos movies isn't as impressive. Unlike the Q950A, this soundbar doesn't come with discrete surround speakers. However, there are some noticeable differences between the two soundbars. Its default sound profile is also quite neutral and balanced, ensuring a clear and accurate reproduction of the punch in the bass range and voices in the mid-range. There are some similarities between this model and the Samsung HW-Q950A - they both come with lots of sound enhancement features, including a graphic EQ, and they both have built-in voice assistant support. This 7.1.2 setup is the next generation of the Samsung HW-Q900T, and it comes with some new features, including Apple AirPlay 2 support and the Auto EQ room correction feature. The Samsung HW-Q900A is the best 7.1 Samsung soundbar that we've tested. That said, most listeners should still be satisfied by its ability to reproduce the deep thump and rumble in your mixes, and you can also use its bass adjustment feature to get a similar result to the Q950T. Also, its low-bass isn't as extended as that of its predecessor, the Samsung HW-Q950T. Unfortunately, this setup's soundstage isn't as impressive as other models we've tested from manufacturers like Bose and Vizio.

RC WILLEY SAMSUNG SOUNDAR FULL
What really makes this bar stand out is its selection of sound enhancement features, including a full graphic EQ to help you customize its sound. Its dedicated subwoofer helps you feel the rumble in action-packed scenes, too. It supports Dolby Atmos content, and there's even voice assistant support built into the bar.
